International Fair of Tourism and Ecology LIST 2018 will be held from 3rd to 5th of May in Lukavac for the 16th time, under the patronage of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition to the basic goal of the Fair, promotion of tourism potential of Tuzla Canton, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as exhibiting countries from the region and beyond, as well as presenting the situation in the field of ecology, the fair will have other contents.
The realization of three panel discussions on the topic “Informatization in the offer of accommodation capacities and content of services” is planned and expert lecture as well, with the topic “Possibilities and advantages of continental health tourism”. Expert in tourism Almir Peštek from the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo will manage and prepare professional aspect.
From the aspect of ecology, the fair will be an opportunity to present equipment and new technologies for environmental protection. In this area, two expert lectures in the area of energy efficiency and protection of electronic waste are envisaged.
The fair will again be an opportunity to educate students of secondary catering schools through activities of a competitive character, prizes included. The indispensable component of tourism are definitely healthy and autochthonous food and drinks, and the fair will again be a large “festival of local dishes and healthy food”.
Presentation of wines, both local and from the region, will gather a significant number of famous wineries, as well as offer news from the area. A free tour of the tourist, cultural and historical sites of the Tuzla Canton is foreseen for journalists and representatives of travel agencies from B&H and the region, organizers said.
