Gönül Kahvesi was established as a single store in Izmir in 2002 with a clear mission of a global recognition of Turkish coffee and espresso. Since then, it has spread beyond the borders of Turkey and with almost 100 stores has proven itself as a most recognised coffee chain in the geographical area it operates in. The success of Gönül Kahvesi lies in its unique products, regularly refreshed offer, concept stores, and creative and innovative approach to business.

This approach resulted in Gönül Kahvesi being recognised as a fastest growing coffee chain in Turkey.
The first store to be opened outside Turkey was a Sarajevo based store in early 2014. It is located in Sarajevo City Centre shopping mall and it served as a foundation for further global expansion.
The arrival of Gönül Kahvesi onto the Bosnian market has been greeted with positive reactions from Sarajevo citizens, as well as tourists visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its offering of genuine Turkish coffee as well as many other flavours of coffee sourced globally from places such as Africa or South and Central America coupled with exotic teas, authentic desserts and ice-creams ensured that the brand’s true values were recognised in a very short period of time.
As a result, a second store was opened in summer 2017, located on the outskirts of the old town, offering the panoramic view of the city that you have to experience in person in order to fully grasp its uniqueness and beauty.
Our mission is simple, for the entire world to enjoy our coffee and the two stores in Sarajevo were opened in line with standards and brand rules of Gönül Kahvesi for that reason.
