“Spring in Banja Luka” is a manifestation that will bring some of the biggest music stars of the region this spring to the city on the Vrbas River, and according to the expectations of the city authorities, attract thousands of tourists. From 8 April to 15 June, more than 100 events in different areas are to be organized aiming to provide citizens and guests of Banja Luka with as much quality content as possible.
Mayor of Banja Luka, Igor Radojičić, pointed out that events would be divided into five blocks. First one is on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the City and the Day of Victory over Fascism, the second during which events in the field of culture will be organized, the third refers to sports events, the fourth are tourist events, and the fifth includes events that the city will organize with various partners.
During this last block, together with dozens of various institutions, associations, NGOs, domestic and foreign partners, around 60 events will be organized for people of all ages in the fields of culture, tourism, sports, entertainment, and recreation.
The most attractive events during “Spring in Banja Luka” are the concerts of the regional music stars: Zdravko Čolić, Željko Samardžić, Nikola Rokvić, Saša Matić, Merima Njegomir, the performance of Banja Luka’s band “One Tri “, several concerts of jazz music, and the concerts of Kemal Gekić and Divna Ljubojević , as well as more folklore events.
The Banja Luka tourist spring will be marked by the third “Ćevap Fest”, and in the second half of May the second Festival of Flowers will be held. One of the tourist offers of this spring in Banja Luka is a weekend stay for tourists, which Banja Luka will implement with Kontiki Company, and we are talking about charter flights during the weekend between Belgrade and Banja Luka.
Spring events do not end there, and the “Celebration of the Legal Age”, “Digital Conference”, “Motofest” and the first international conference of DJs with the tendency of Banja Luka to become a regional center in this domain are also planned.
As for sporting events, the Banja Luka-Belgrade bicycle race and two half-marathons will be held.
