In 19 years, Contessa Company in Tešanj has produced more than two million different garments, exclusively on demand of the European market. Last year, they invested considerable money in capacity expansion, so even greater success could be expected.
The products are delivered to names such as Versace, Cavali, Dolce&Gabbana, Diadora, Sportalm, Moschino, Uni&Forma, Goretex and others, reports ZOS radio.
With its capacities, quality, price and delivery time, Contessa has no placement problems, but it is more likely to have problems accepting new inquiries without compromising existing obligations.
Production capacities are continuously renovated and modernized, and last year significant investments were made in construction facilities, machines and production software.
New 700 meters square production warehouse was built, a total of 2,200 square meters, new machines were purchased. The total value of the investment is more than 300,000 BAM.
Contessa today employs about 190 workers. Today, the six production lines produce three product groups: sportswear with special characteristics, special clothing and furniture products (chairs, armchairs …).
Out of the total production, 99 percent of products go to a foreign buyer directly or through furniture that Contessa’s buyers export.
The buyer of sportswear from Italy is one of the world’s largest innovators in this field. One of the characteristics of sports equipment is that in any temperature conditions clothing prevents the loss of heat energy of an athlete.
Production software ensures that after scanning and packing products, the customer at that precise moment has information about it because it has online access.
