Italians will open 300 jobs in Donji Vakuf

The Italian company for production of footwear “Olip” will open a plant in Donji Vakuf until summer, which should open about 300 jobs. This was confirmed by the head of this municipality Huso Sušić for BiznisInfo.

This is just one of the investments that come to this city whose economy is finally reviving. Apart from Olip, the company Bosnaplod is also expected to open a refrigerator for 2,000 tons of berries in Donji Vakuf. This investment should also lead to new employment.

This will continue the positive momentum that Donji Vakuf recorded in recent years. Until a few years ago, this city was an example of underdevelopment, and now it becomes a local community that is becoming more and more attractive to investors.

Recently, new plants have been opened in the industrial zone of Janj, and the number of workers from the former 200 has risen to around 1,200.

In addition to production, investments have also arrived in the retail sector, and the retail chain Bingo has recently opened its first center in this city on 3,000 square meters. Sušić says that today there is a great interest of investors for investments in Donji Vakuf.
