Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids

The Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids is the world’s largest complex of pyramid buildings. It consists of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, which, with a height of 368 meters, is significantly higher than the Cheops Pyramid, then the 190-meter-high Bosnian Pyramid of the Moon, the 90-meter Bosnian Dragon Pyramid, and the modeled elevations of the Temple of Mother Earth, the Pyramid of Love and the “Sixth” Pyramid as well as the Tumulus in Vratnica. The pyramids of the Sun, the Moon and the Dragon form a regular equilateral triangle with 2,170 meters between the peaks.

The orientation of the sides of all pyramids is straight, towards cosmic north. In the Conclusions of the First International Scientific Conference on the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids, held in August 2008, 55 leading world experts from 13 countries confirmed that “Bosnian pyramids are an archaeological phenomenon that should be intensively researched”.

The Second International Scientific Conference from September 2011 concluded that the history books must be changed because of the existence of the Bosnian pyramids, their age and purpose.

Negative ions

Research was started in April 2005 when anthropologist Semir Osmanagić, DSc proposed a hypothesis about the existence of a complex of pyramids and a network of underground tunnels, which was continued in 2006 with the formation of the non-profit Foundation “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun”.

This multidisciplinary scientific research is today the world’s largest archaeological project that attracts tens of thousands of tourists, volunteers, researchers and media to Visoko (Bosnia and Herzegovina) every year. GeoRadar imaging by German geophysicists confirmed the existence of internal passages in the pyramid.

Physicists detected energy rays with a radius of 4.5 meters passing through the very top of the pyramid, and Italian experts detected and measured artificially created electromagnetic and ultrasonic focused rays with a frequency of 28 kHz. A very strong Schumann resonance of 7.83 HZ was measured on the pyramid, which is the most beneficial for the physical, mental and spiritual development of a person.

The pyramid is covered with deposits of soil and vegetation similar to hundreds of pyramids in China, Mexico or Guatemala. Using LIDAR technology, a height of 368 meters was established, and the analysis of fossilized leaves between concrete blocks confirmed the pyramid’s radiocarbon age of 29,200 (+/- 400 years).

A complex network of passageways, intersections, rooms and underground water reservoirs was built under the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids. The discovery of this labyrinth was announced by the discoverer of the Bosnian pyramids, Semir Osmanagić, in his book from 2005, basing his hypothesis on similar examples of underground tunnels in Egypt, China and Mexico. Until then, in Visoko, it was considered that the low entrance and the fifty-meter tunnel passage was a “natural cave.”

Research has shown that the conglomerate contains an underground labyrinth that stretches for tens of kilometers. The distance from the entrance to the tunnels to the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun is 2.9 kilometers. Dozens of dry walls were found at the entrances to the side tunnels – structures with lined stone pebbles, which are clear evidence of anthropogenic activity.

There is no negative radiation in the labyrinth – cosmic (Hartman, Curie and Schneider networks), natural radioactivity or negative energy from underground water flows. Therefore, this location is one of the safest on the planet and provides health protection and revitalization of the body. The activities are reduced to the cleaning of the existing prehistoric tunnels from the introduced gravel material and securing the tunnel passages leading to the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun (southeast direction) with wooden propping. The air circulation is excellent and is achieved by the different heights of the ceilings which cause different air pressure and natural ventilation.

The slope of the tunnel is 1.5 degrees, which allows fine water drainage. The concentration of negative ions, which clean the atmosphere of bacteria and viruses, is several tens of times higher than the average, and this explains the tunnel’s beneficial effect on the human body.

Two cultural layers

At least two cultural layers are visible in the tunnels of Ravna – the builders of the labyrinth (more than 30,000 years ago) and the civilization that buried all the tunnels and rooms with gravel material at least 5,000 years ago.

The “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” Foundation has been organizing volunteer actions for years, where it invites interested volunteers from all over the world to join the work on the project. The volunteering season at the Bosnian pyramids is one of the most active and exciting in the entire region and beyond. Year after year, an increasing number of volunteers arrive in Visoko, who come from all continents, and who selflessly help and contribute through work at archaeological sites.

To apply, you need to be between 18 and 70 years old, have a cheerful spirit and be motivated to work with people with an open mind and heart. Archaeological work takes place under expert supervision, at several different locations that the Foundation covers through its activities. Volunteers can get acquainted with the project, with different multidisciplinary sciences, but also to meet new people, and their cultures and customs.

Archaeological-tourist-sports park Ravne 2 covers an area of over 100,000 square meters and is in Visoko, 35 kilometers from Sarajevo. The park is full of content with more than 40 different installations that have archaeological, scientific, educational, entertainment, artistic and sports significance.

Numerous cultural, entertainment, music and sports events have become an integral part of the program in the park, the most important of which is the “Summer Solstice Festival (SSF)” which is held every year during the summer solstice, and which hosts artists from all over the world, as well as the biggest music stars of the region. This park is a distinct asset for the local population. It is a refuge from the city environment and closed space, where visitors can enjoy nature, coniferous forest, spring water and various programs and contents of the park.
