Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the world bakery fair in Munich

More than 1,300 exhibitors from all over the world will present their latest innovations, trends and technical achievements from the bakery industry this year in Munich. That is precisely why 2018 for this industry stands in the sign of iba mark. The world’s leading bakery, pastry and snack fair will be held from September 15 to 20 in Munich.

The iba 2018 fair is a meeting place for experts in the field of bakery, confectionery and snack industries. The leading expert fair for baking and confectionery attracts more than 77,000 visitors from almost 170 countries around the world.

On the occasion of the upcoming fair iba 2018, a presentation of the fair was held in Sarajevo and organized by the Representation of the German Chamber of Commerce in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has many years of experience in presenting trade fairs in Germany and as such is always available to support companies wishing to participate in the fair.

-AHK BiH is the contact bureau for the German fairgrounds Messe Munchen International – MMI in Munich, Koelmesse in Cologne and the Spielwarenmesse Nurnberg toy fair, and provides information and support to potential exhibitors and visitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our support is based on additional information about fairs, we help organize the exhibition itself and through advisory role we are trying to facilitate the whole process for delegations or individuals – said Amra Ĺ urković from the Representation of the German Economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Martin Gaber, Deputy Director of the German Economy Representation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, reminded that AHK is the official representative of the German economy in the country and the first contact address for German companies interested in BH market.

– On one side we have fair activities, and on the other trade exchange between the two countries. Through our support, we establish links and support the investors – he stressed.

At the World Fair for Bakery, Confectionery and Snack this year Bosnia and Herzegovina will have its representative, and this is Mrvica Bakery. Dina Ramić Husomanović, director of Mrvica, said that after three years of doing business this will be a special challenge for them.

-After the visit to the 2015 Fair, we gained numerous experiences, knowledge and signed contracts and made acquaintances. We are proud to be the first bakery in Bosnia and Herzegovina to be presented at this great event. We want to introduce the products we plan to market to Germany and Austria – she said.
