Number of tourists in Bosnia and Herzegovina increased by 34.8 percent

In Maech 2017, there were 75 521 visits to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is more by 34.8 percent compared to February 2017, and 7.5 percent compared to March 2016.

There were 156 256 overnight stays, which is more for 28.3 percent compared to February 2017, and 9.3 percent more than in March 2016. The percentage of overnight stays of local tourists was 33.4, and 66.6 percent of foreign tourists.

As for the length of stay of foreign tourists in Bosnia and Herzegovina, tourists from Denmark are on the first place, with an average stay of 5.1 nights, then from Sweden 3.2 overnight stays, and Croatia, Egypt and Latvia with 3.1 stays. These are the data of the Agency for statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
